Hike Messenger is Ready to Take Over

Very recently, the notorious messaging app, WhatsApp, that's not only one of the most used apps at the moment with one of the biggest users base, but it's also a very appealing app for its continuous updates and improvements that are aimed to enhance the messaging services, has faced serious problems and media attacks after the platform has been left prone to the wide-spread hoaxes, misinformation, and rumours. Unfortunately, the developers of WhatsApp didn't act on time which led to several deadly attacks and crimes in some communities - such as India. After the hideous complexities that led to the murder of innocent people, WhatsApp has finally started to act and search for a solution in order to stop the spread of the misuse of its platform to publish misinformation that may lead to some serious consequences. However, it's undoubted that the grand reputation of WhatsApp has been shook and the platform surely needs to make vital changes to restore its previous status. And as a result of the recent WhatsApp dilemma, many users have decided to fled the WhatsApp messaging community after what they've witnessed; many users are looking for other alternatives that may serve as better ways of communicating and socializing.

The dominence of WhatsApp over the majority of users doesn't indeed mean that there aren't any other messaging alternatives; on the contrary, there are various other options from which the user can select the best app that suits his needs and, most importantly, his privacy requirements. For instance, the very secured app, Telegram, is one of the best messaging apps available at the moment; Telegram provides a hoaxes-free messaging service and also has highly successful privacy measures. Unfortunately, the unwillingness of Telegram to provide the authorities with a backdoor to its platform has led to the prohibition of the app in some countries - such as Iran and Russia. Consequently, Telegram may not be available for the widest range of people who are seeking a better messaging app.

Thankfully, the Indian messenger, Hike, is here to serve the greater end of satisfying the users by acting as the messaging app they desire with no hoaxes and no privacy compromising. As a start, the user of the Hike messenger has to accept a friend request in order to start communicating with the other user; the feature of messaging request is similar to that of Facebook, and through it Hike makes sure that the user will not get random messages from anonymous or unrecognized people simply because they have the phone number. In order to receive any message, you have to add the other party to the list of your contacts on Hike - not every individual who has your number can message you. Additionally, the Indian messenger, Hike, provides the users with the feature of the "offline messages", which makes it possible to send any message - offline - through either a free SMS or through the regular carrier's SMS. This "offline messages" feature can be of great help in times of emergency or urgency when either the sender or the receiver doesn't have internet access. Moreover, Hike provides hidden chat sessions that can be accessed only via a code so that the user can keep his confidential messaging sessions secured in case his device fell in the wrong hands. It's quite clear that Hike provides a couple of features which WhatsApp doesn't; the problem is that many users were not willing to give Hike a decent shot until the WhatsApp status got compromised.
