WhatsApp Extra Measures for Protecting its Platform
Since the beginning of 2018, the most popular messaging app of all times, WhatsApp, has been facing quite the intense problems when it came down to protecting the platform and the billion of users from the innumerable misuses that flooded the messenger from anonymous parties and users that weren't able to be identified due to the well-known end-to-end encryption feature of the app which is created in order to limit the WhatsApp conversations to only the two parties of the messaging equation - the sender and recipient.
However, developers and officials at the WhatsApp company started the calculated, slow process of creating some strict measures and counteracts in the attempt to decrease the number of misuses happening on the platform. And after alerting the users in the different communities around the world not to forward any anonymous message and to report any suspicious user or unknown number immediately, the WhatsApp company is indeed initiating further plans and releasing more features that are going to totally prevent any misuse of the messaging service on the long run.
In the last couple of weeks, it was reported that the developers of WhatsApp are starting to roll out a new defence mechanism that is going to ban any suspicous or obnoxious users from using the messaging service wrongly. The new mechanism is reportedly containing some guidelines that are created to determine whether the user gets banned or not. Generally speaking, the WhatsApp users have to be careful not to use the messaging platform in any sorts of wrong doings - or socially and legally unacceptable deeds - if they wish to continue using the app. For instance, any user who sends threats, hate messages or obscene contents via the WhatsApp messenger is facing an immediate prohibition from the platform; and also any message that incites violence against any party or individual and messages encouraging crimes and acts of violence, or abuse, or terrorism will be banned immediately along with their senders.
Moreover, creating fake WhatsApp accounts and impersonating another person is considered a stark violation of both the WhatsApp rules and the law which can lead to severe legal complications beside the ban from the messaging service. Plus the WhatsApp developers didn't forget to prohibit any sending of viruses, malware or malicious softwares; using the app to send or receive such content will get the user banned faster than imagined. Additionally, if any WhatsApp user gets blocked or reported way more than usual, he'll be driven out of the chatting service for suspicious behaviour; and any act of spying, hacking accounts or tracking down other users will lead to permanent prohibition from using WhatsApp. So, it's clearly obvious that commiting any illegal or unethical behaviour on WhatsApp is totally unforgivable by the platform and leads to the complete ban of the user from the WhatsApp realm.
