Henry Cavill & The Fatal August

In 2017, the British actor Henry Cavill joined the most popular action/spy franchise of Mission Impossible that has been flourishing over the years bringing the worldwide audience a whole lot of action, suspense, cinematic craftsmanship and thriller. Cavill brought to life the character of August Walker who is a - somehow Protagonist-turned-antagonist character - pioneering, fatal, ruthless, unprecedented and unpredictable U.S. - CIA - agent the authorities turn to when they need to get the job 100% done! The acting talent of the actor didn't only make the main antagonist of the fifth instalment of Mission Impossible intimidating and mysterious, but it also elevated him high enough to be able to compete ferociously, as an equally qualified competitor, with Ethan Hunt - Tom Cruise - whose consistent methodology of work is very different and based on purely being as humanistic as the mission could possibly allow!

Henry Cavill Plays August Walker in the Latest Instalment of the Franchise of Mission Impossible

The journey of Walker throughout the movie didn't reveal much about him, his characteristics, preferences and deadly methods; all that was revealed is the much-talked-about stark dedication of Walker which has earned him an exceedingly dangerous reputation as the no. 1 agent, referred to as the hammer, whose deadly techniques accomplish the mission irreversibly and permanately. As an established actor, Henry has palpably succeeded in conveying the subtle yet dangerous persona of Walker who shouldn't be missed with at all, and who turns out, clearly, throughout the movie, to be working according to his own agenda.

The No. 1 Fatal Agent Referred to as the Hammer

The new look of the British star - the moustache, the more flexible fighting style - along with his smart representation of August as a quiet yet dominant force of the plot, have earned him hugely positive feedback and reviews. Unfortunately, the fact that the brutally serious agent, apparently, died at the end of Mission Impossible Fallout brings about nearly no possibility of reviving this charming villain in next instalments of the franchise.
Somewhere on the internet I read that popular franchises such as Mission Impossible and Fast and Furious are not indeed very familiar with revisiting the characters of previous villains which makes it even more hard to bring back August Walker as an angry, facially-deformed, and highly driven anti-hero with one mission in his mind: to kill Ethan Hunt!

The Physical Transformation Played a Key Role in Intensifying the Character of Walker

Nevertheless, after the grand success of MI Fallout in 2018 and the incomplete introduction of the character of Walker, it would be perfectly safe to say that the audience needs, for example, a prequel to the movie based on the evolution of Walker and how he earned his unprecedented reputation. There must be some sort of a trauma that occurred in past time prompting August to shift from good to bad, propelling him to defy the system and to turn on his employers and start working for other allegiances!
Personally I think that the "theoretical" prequel would mainly revolve around a thorough, comprehensive and fairly-detailed presentation of the notorious assassin, the hammer, the plumber, the bull, allowing spectators to take a deep look at the moulding of this brutal, unstoppable agent who managed to transform his raw abilities into resources of power serving his own development - and later serving his own interests as well.

What Made August Walker Defy the System?!

Due to the reluctance of the makers of some previous roles / characters of Henry Cavill, the talented artist wasn't able to transform the superhero and the US agent he portrayed previously into completely-evolved personalities to make their journeys both more relatable and rich. When you've got an incredibly adaptable, devoted actor like Henry Cavill - full of potentials, charismatic, smart, good-looking, eloquent, civilised, kind and humble - but you simply choose not to fully utilize his decent human powers as a desirable artist and an outstanding performer, what should you be called/labelled as?!! A fool I guess.

Henry Cavill & Armie Hammer

By the end of the year, reportedly, Henry Cavill along with Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan are going to finally introduce the world with the very anticipated T.V. series The Witcher, transforming the popular novels, by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, into an enticing, well-rounded journey of discovery.
